Unlike traditional utility portals that transmit your passwords, text drafts, images, and API tokens to backend databases, the vast majority of utilities on FastestChecker execute 100% locally within your device's web browser sandbox using client-side JavaScript, WebAssembly, and W3C WebCrypto APIs.

When you use the Password Generator, JWT Decoder, Base64 Tool, Hash Generator, Binary Converter, Image Resizer, Image Color Picker, Text Extractor (OCR), Markdown Editor, or Word Counter, your raw input strings, files, and generated output payloads reside exclusively in volatile local device memory (RAM). At no point does FastestChecker upload, log, inspect, serialize, or persist this data to remote storage volumes.

2. Telemetry and Server-Level Technical Logging

When you visit fastestchecker.com, our edge hosting infrastructure (powered by Google Cloud Platform / Firebase Hosting) automatically processes standard HTTP request headers strictly necessary for transmitting static web assets across the internet. This standard technical logging encompasses:

• Your public Internet Protocol (IP) address;
• Uniform Resource Identifier (URI) path requested;
• HTTP User-Agent string (browser engine, version, operating system);
• Referring URL (the web page that directed you to FastestChecker);
• HTTP response status code and total payload byte transfer;
• Network timestamp of the request.

These automated edge logs are retained for transient periods (typically under 30 days) solely for technical system administration, mitigation of Distributed Denial of Service (DDoS) assaults, malicious automated bot detection, and edge routing latency optimization. Server logs are never correlated with individual identities or local tool calculation inputs.

3. Cookie Usage and Advertising Practices (Google AdSense)

To sustain FastestChecker as a free, open-access public resource without requiring user subscription fees or mandatory account paywalls, we display digital advertisements in partnership with Google AdSense. Google and its certified third-party vendor partners utilize HTTP cookies, device identifiers, and local storage tokens to serve advertisements tailored to prior browsing patterns.

We deploy Google Consent Mode v2 across our entire digital infrastructure. When you access FastestChecker, our Cookie Settings banner enables granular control over your consent preferences:

6. Third-Party Diagnostic API Disclosures

Certain network diagnostic utilities on FastestChecker query external public APIs to resolve global infrastructure records:

• DNS Records Lookup: Queries public DNS-over-HTTPS (DoH) resolvers maintained by Google Cloud (dns.google) and Cloudflare (cloudflare-dns.com) under RFC 8484. These queries transmit only the target domain name being investigated.
• WHOIS / RDAP Age Checker: Queries authoritative ICANN-accredited registrar RDAP REST endpoints under RFC 7480-7484.
• IP & Geolocation Diagnostics: Queries public Anycast IP directory endpoints to locate autonomous system numbers (ASNs) and geographic city centroids.

8. Detailed Data Retention and Session Lifetime Disclosures

Because FastestChecker operates on a non-custodial model, user interaction data is governed by the following strict retention schedules:

• Browser Session RAM: Any data pasted or calculated in our client-side tools (such as text entered into the Word Counter, strings converted in the Base64 Tool, or passwords created in the Password Generator) exists solely within transient browser memory for the active browser tab session. As soon as you navigate away, refresh, or close the browser tab, the local memory allocation is purged by your browser's garbage collection routine.
• Local Storage (Client-Side Only): Certain user preferences—specifically your Cookie Consent state (fc_cookie_consent) and dark/light UI theme choices—are stored in your browser's localStorage. This data never leaves your device and can be erased instantly at any time via your browser settings.
• Temporary Server Logs: Standard HTTP edge server access logs collected by Google Cloud Platform / Firebase Hosting are retained for a maximum of 30 calendar days for infrastructure diagnostics, after which they are automatically purged.
